Examining Codes Of Ethics In Early Childhood

When I became an educator, I knew I would be faced with a lot of obstacles in this field. There has been many resources to help me along the way.

1. Ensure that programs for young children are based on current knowledge and research of child      development and early childhood education (NAEYC, 2005).

2. Continue to learn, grow, and contribute as a professional (NAEYC, 2005).

3. We shall empower families with information and resources so that they are informed consumers
of services for their children (DEC, 2009).

I felt like these three were very meaningful to me because they help me educate my self more daily and the families of our young children in Early Childhood Education.
